Linocut Basics - The best way to get comfortable with carving tools is to dive right in.

I’ll take you through the exercise of making a textured quilt block, which gets you comfortable with using all the different Shapes of carving tools/gouges, and learning the types of marks they make in each of the small spaces of the quilt block design. I’ll also teach you how to ink up your block, register it to your paper for printing, and proper clean-up techniques.

What you’ll learn
